What Is Sapphire FUE?

The method allows a large number of hair follicles to be transplanted with high precision and is therefore often suitable for larger areas of hair loss.

What Is DHI?
DHI stands for Direct Hair Implantation and is an advanced implantation method. DHI uses a specialised Choi Pen, which allows hair follicles to be implanted directly into the scalp with a high level of precision.
The method gives the hair specialist greater control over the placement of hair follicles between the existing hairs. DHI is particularly suitable for a second procedure when increased density is desired, as well as for smaller or thinner areas where more hair follicles need to be implanted with maximum precision. DHI can also be combined with the Sapphire FUE method to achieve the best possible result.

What Is the Difference?
The main difference lies in the implantation process itself.
With Sapphire FUE, the channels are opened first, after which the hair follicles are implanted. With DHI, the hair follicles are implanted directly using a Choi Pen.
DHI gives the surgeon greater control over each individual hair follicle, while Sapphire FUE is often the most effective solution for larger areas.
DHI typically takes more time and is therefore often slightly more expensive than Sapphire FUE.
