Your stay in Istanbul generally lasts 3 days and 2 nights. You arrive the day before the treatment and stay at a hotel near the clinic. The treatment is then performed, followed by a check-up before you travel home.

The package price is paid directly to the clinic on the day of the procedure.
Any optional add-ons, such as the DHI method, exosome treatment, or sedation, are paid for at the same time as the rest of the treatment.
The hair transplant includes a customized number of grafts, determined based on your hair loss, donor area, and personal preferences.
Depending on your hair loss and goals, the treatment can be supplemented with various optional additions. Together, we will assess which solutions best suit your specific treatment plan.
One of the major benefits is that you avoid the discomfort and pain associated with the local anesthesia injection, as sedation is administered first. For most people, this makes the start of the procedure significantly more comfortable.
Sedation is an optional calming measure administered prior to local anesthesia. You remain awake during the procedure, but most patients feel calmer and less nervous, and avoid the discomfort associated with local anesthesia.
This option may be suitable if you are anxious about the local anesthesia or simply wish for a more comfortable experience. An additional fee applies, as a specially trained sedation physician is present during the procedure.
DHI is an option in which hair follicles are implanted directly using a specially designed DHI pen.
The method is particularly well-suited for transplantation between existing hair, where precise implantation offers an advantage. It is frequently used for increasing density or for a second hair transplant procedure where greater thickness is desired without damaging existing hair.
Our hair specialist will assess on an individual basis whether the DHI method is the right choice for you.
Exosome treatment is used to supplement hair transplantation, aiming to support the healing process and create the best possible conditions for the transplanted hair follicles.
Exosomes contain natural signaling molecules that facilitate cell communication and can stimulate the cells surrounding the hair follicles. The goal is to support tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and create a more favorable environment for the hair follicles, giving them the best chance to take root and grow.
The treatment is optional and is typically recommended for patients who wish to optimize the outcome of their procedure. If you choose exosome treatment, there is generally no need for additional PRP treatments after the surgery, as many find exosomes to be an attractive alternative to a prolonged course of PRP therapy.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a treatment that involves drawing a small amount of your own blood. The blood is centrifuged to concentrate the natural growth factors, which are then injected into the scalp.
PRP is often used to supplement hair transplantation, supporting the healing process and creating optimal conditions for the transplanted hair follicles.
PRP treatments can be performed in either Denmark or Istanbul. Håreksperten partners with clinics in both Aarhus and Copenhagen, making it possible to continue the treatment course in Denmark after returning home.
The first PRP treatment is included in your package. If you wish to have additional treatments after the surgery, these can be purchased separately.
Your stay generally lasts 3 days and 2 nights. You arrive the day before the surgery, check into the hotel, and have the opportunity to settle in before the procedure. The hair transplant takes place on day 2, and on day 3, you return to the clinic for a check-up and bandage removal before heading home.
You will be accommodated at a hotel within walking distance of the clinic, ensuring easy and convenient travel to and from your appointments during your stay. Hotel accommodation with breakfast is included in your package.
You are welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member along. A surcharge of €20 per person per day applies. If you wish to explore more of Istanbul before or after the treatment, additional nights can be purchased for €120 per night.
If you prefer to stay at a different hotel, this can also be arranged; in that case, the cost of the hotel and transport will be deducted from the package price.
Flight tickets are not included in your package and must be booked by you once your treatment plan is scheduled and the dates are confirmed.
There are two airports in Istanbul: Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). You are free to choose both the airport and the airline. Direct flights from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) are available with carriers such as Pegasus, AJet, and Turkish Airlines. If you are primarily looking for the best price, I often recommend Pegasus.
On your day of arrival, you are free to choose the flight and arrival time that suit you best. Our private driver will be ready to pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel.
All transportation between the airport, hotel, and clinic is included in your package. Therefore, you do not need to worry about taxis or public transport during your stay.
Return journey
On the day of your return, you must attend a check-up before heading home. We therefore recommend booking a flight departing no earlier than 12:30 PM—and preferably later, if possible.
Our driver will ensure you arrive at the airport approximately two hours before departure. If you wish to arrive at the airport earlier than this, you should choose a later flight.
If you have a chronic illness or are over the age of 50, we recommend staying an extra day in Istanbul so you can remain close to the clinic and receive further monitoring after the treatment. An extra night costs €120.

Airport transfer and pickup
Once your flight tickets have been booked, please send us your flight details. This information is used to arrange your transport and enables our driver to track any flight delays, ensuring a smooth pickup upon your arrival.
Your booking is only finally confirmed once we have received your flight details.
Before you travel, it is important that you follow the clinic's instructions. This helps ensure the best possible conditions for the surgery and the treatment process.

Medical conditions and medication
If you suffer from chronic illnesses, high blood pressure, or heart disease, or if you take regular medication, you must inform Håreksperten before booking.
Once we have received your information, we will send you a health questionnaire to complete. Based on your details, we will assess whether further documentation or approval from your GP is required.
If you have high blood pressure or heart disease, you must obtain advice and approval from your GP in Denmark before proceeding with the treatment process.
If you take medication for high blood pressure, you must continue taking it as prescribed by your doctor—including right up to the time of treatment—unless instructed otherwise.
If you have high blood pressure or are over the age of 50, we recommend extending your stay by one extra day to allow the clinic to provide additional observation after the treatment.
Please note that the clinic does not perform hair transplants on clients with HIV or HCV.
